Sotol Mule

This is variation on my great Moscow Mule recipe.

Makes 1 cocktail.

In a cocktail mixer over ice add:

  • 1 oz freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 0.5 oz mandarin or lemon infused Gin
  • 1 oz Sotol [Desert Door is my preferred brand here]
  • micro plane fresh ginger root to taste
  • agave nectar to taste

Shake and pour into Martini glass with crushed ice.  Top off with your favorite ginger beer (Fever Tree preferred)

Garnish with a basil leaf and coarse black pepper.
